Kelly Mathews is an educator and media creator who designs hands-on, kid-centered video creation and performance experiences that blend storytelling, comedy, and collaboration. Drawing on five years of producing a daily student newscast at Woodrow Wilson Academy’s Home School Enrichment program, Kelly leads small, immersive sitcom camps where students in grades 3-6 step into both on-camera and behind-the-scenes roles to create an original, laugh-out-loud sitcom episode from start to finish. Campers develop characters, practice comedic timing, perform using a green screen, and learn the basics of video production and editing—all in a supportive, playful environment that builds confidence, creativity, and teamwork. The result is a polished final episode families can enjoy, and an unforgettable creative experience for students.
